Rene Herse names their tires after the passes in the Cascade Mountains that inspire them: Snoqualmie Pass was the route of theĀ Olympian HiawathaĀ express train to Seattle. Today, a trail heads up the pass, with spectacular views as you traverse the old railroad trestles. Youā€™ll enjoy the speed and grip of the supple casing on the paved sections of the climb, and the large air volume will have you float over the rough gravel rather than grind through it.

TheĀ StandardĀ casing is a more affordable option: comfortable and fast, yet also strong to withstand considerable abuse. TheĀ ExtralightĀ casing takes the performance, comfort and feel of your bike to an entirely new level. TheĀ EnduranceĀ casing is reinforced for extra sidewall protection and puncture resistance, while retaining the speed and comfort for which Rene Herse tires are famous. TheĀ Endurance PlusĀ casing provides the ultimate in sidewall protection for extremely tough conditions.

The Snoqualmie Pass is tubeless-compatible.Ā For tubeless set up, we recommendĀ Panaracer Seal SmartĀ tubeless tire sealant.Ā

The supple casing of Rene Herse all-road tires rolls smoothly over surface irregularities. The tread pattern interlocks with the road surface for superior cornering grip, whether your roads are wet or dry. The tread has enough thickness in the center to last many miles, but it's thin and supple on the shoulders where it doesnā€™t wear. All models feature:
